Hitting shuffle with: The Marshmallow Ghosts

This week sees us hitting shuffle with The Marshmallow Ghosts, whose eponymous debut is dropping just in time for Halloween. Perfect timing, too: the poppy album is full of tracks that would serve as a perfect fit for the holiday. In keeping with the occasion, the band has assembled for us the ultimate Halloween playlist.

the ideal playlist for this Halloween:
  1. "The Devil's Nine Questions" by Texas Gladden
  2. "Ghost to Ghost" airing from '96 by Art Bell
  3. "Okkulte Stimmen" by Mediale Musik
  4. "Last Caress" by the Misfits
  5. "Me and My Mummy" by Bobby Boris Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers
  6. "Pretty Polly" by Dock Boggs
  7. "Japanese Whispers" by the Cure
  8. "Nightmare on My Street" by DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
  9. "Ghosts Will Come and Kiss Our Eyes" by Hrsta
  10. "They Were Wrong So We Drowned" by Liars
  11. "I Can Never Go Home Anymore" by the Shangri-Las

Anything by Dock Boggs will give you the Halloween chills, even the sound of his voice alone. Check him out! "Oh Death" is a killer.
